HIGHLINE COUNCIL PTSA 9.5

Our 2016 Scholarship Winners along with Highline School representatives, Council and Region 9 Representatives.


Originally the Social Services Fund, established in 1955, the Scholarship Fund serves our Graduating Seniors in Highline Public Schools. In 2016, four scholarships were awarded in amounts ranging from $500 to $1000. 




Employee contributions fund our Highline Council PTSA Scholarships. If you are a Highline School District employee and would like to contribute, please download the brochure, and mail your completed form to Highline Council PTSA, PO Box 66539, Burien, WA 98166


​Scholarship Guidelines:


To be considered eligible for a HCPTSA scholarship, the student applicant must be living within the Highline School District, currently enrolled in a Highline School District High School and graduating in June 2017. The high school does not have to have a PTA for a student to apply.  Scholarships shall be available for use at any accredited college, university or vocational institute. Scholarship funds vary from $250 up to $1000 and are awarded at the discretion of the HCPTSA scholarship committee. 

Eligible candidates shall be evaluated on the following criteria:

Volunteer work and/or public service
Extracurricular activities
Essay question
One letter of recommendation
Grade point average
