Originally the Social Services Fund, established in 1955, the Scholarship Fund serves our Graduating Seniors in Highline Public Schools. In 2016, four scholarships were awarded in amounts ranging from $500 to $1000.

To be considered eligible for a HCPTSA scholarship, the student applicant must be living within the Highline School District, currently enrolled in a Highline School District High School and graduating in June 2017. The high school does not have to have a PTA for a student to apply. Scholarships shall be available for use at any accredited college, university or vocational institute. Scholarship funds vary from $250 up to $1000 and are awarded at the discretion of the HCPTSA scholarship committee.
Eligible candidates shall be evaluated on the following criteria:
Volunteer work and/or public service
One letter of recommendation
Grade point average

Our Senior Scholarship Fund helps with vision and hearing services for our students in need. Highline Schools employees contribute to the fund, which also funds our Scholarship program.
The Highline Council PTSA serves the local PTA's of the Highline School District Area and is in Region 9 of the Washington State PTA.
Washington State PTA is part of the National PTA.
