HIGHLINE COUNCIL PTSA 9.5

Originally the Social Services Fund, established in 1955, the Scholarship Fund serves our Graduating Seniors in Highline Public Schools. In 2016, four scholarships were awarded in amounts ranging from $500 to $1000. 




Employee contributions fund our Highline Council PTSA Scholarships. If you are a Highline School District employee and would like to contribute, please download the brochure, and mail your completed form to Highline Council PTSA, PO Box 66539, Burien, WA 98166


​Scholarship Guidelines:


To be considered eligible for a HCPTSA scholarship, the student applicant must be living within the Highline School District, currently enrolled in a Highline School District High School and graduating in June 2018. The high school does not have to have a PTA for a student to apply.  Scholarships shall be available for use at any accredited college, university or vocational institute. Scholarship funds vary from $250 up to $1000 and are awarded at the discretion of the HCPTSA scholarship committee. 

Eligible candidates shall be evaluated on the following criteria:

Volunteer work and/or public service
Extracurricular activities
Essay question
One letter of recommendation
Grade point average
